The Benefits Of Recycled Plastic Insulation

The recycled plastic is non-irritating and does not require any special equipment to install, laying easily and without hassle. Re-using the plastic waste from the landfill reduces the amount of fiberglass and rockwool produced and removes material from the environment that would otherwise pollute habitats, creating healthier and cleaner eco spaces.

Plastic has a high thermal efficiency, making it a prime insulation material for half the thickness of old-school insulation pads. Not only does this save space during renovation giving you more usable square-footage, but it creates an opportunity for less land-use when building new structures.

Best of all, the insulation itself can be recycled when it’s time for a renovation.

Better For Your Health, Better For The Environment

When installing traditional insulations, you must wear protective clothing and a respirator to ensure you are minimally exposed to the material. Furthermore, these traditional insulations are harmful to the environment, polluting habitats and inadvertently harming wildlife.

Eco Supasoft Insulation is a safe alternative that is better for your health and better for the environment. No protective gear is required to install, and it removes plastic waste from the environment.

Insulating Power Of Eco SupaSoft

Eco SupaSoft insulation comes in thicknesses of 50mm or 100mm, making it easy to layer in the spaces between studs in loft flooring or walls.

For most lofts, it is typically recommended that Eco SupaSoft is layered to a thickness of 250mm to 300mm to achieve optimal thermal insulation. The insulating power matches that of rockwool or fiberglass in half the thickness.

Thermal Sheeting: A Safe Alternative

This material is a safe alternative to other more fibrous insulation materials such as rockwool or fiberglass mats.

Thermal sheeting (space blanket) does not require special equipment to handle it or install the material during renovations or new building construction. Thermal sheeting lasts a long time as well, making it the ideal insulation material.
